Panasonic fax machine

During these tough horrible economic times everyone is scrimping and saving every last penny. That means no more trips to the movies, nights out at the bar or expensive Italian shoes. People are simply trying to subsist. That means making ends meet.

Computer supplies don’t usually come cheaply. You need toner, mouse pads, keyboard and many other items to maximize your computer experience. If you own a computer you probably know that supplies can be expensive, but what you don’t know is that there’s an easy way to save money. Whereas you used to have to buy a separate Panasonic fax machine, printer and copier, you can now find hybrid models that combine the features of all of these units. This logic also works with many other electronic products as well.

Konica copier

In the past years, separate printers, fax machines, scanners and copiers were used in homes and in businesses. Due to the increasing demand and competition for office equipment, the manufacturers came up with various combinations of these products which include the printer-scanner, printer-scanner-copier and the printer-scanner-copier-fax, all in one.

Today you can buy machines that have all of the features of the above-mentioned machines, yet easily fit on your desk. Most consumers go for popular brands like the Epson or Konica copier since they all have great features, like excellent print quality and superb images, and best of all, good value for money. No matter what model you buy, be sure to do your research to ensure that you get all of the features that you need and are available to you.

oki low end mono digital printers

Time is money and shopping takes time. As a professional you’d probably rather spend your time finishing important projects and meeting strict deadlines. Shopping for office supplies takes too much time. Traffic and waiting in long store lines is annoying and seems like a waste of energy.

Shop for your office supplies online and you’ll be able to spend your time getting your job done. Keep in mind that shopping online also reduces your gasoline costs and decreases the amount of wear and tear you put on your car. Don’t spend more time or money shopping in stores—last week I was able to find a great deal on Oki low end mono digital printers online.

Xerox copier supplies

Some of the most valuable assets for any large company are their copyrights and trademarks. These simple rights allow for brand marketing and set them apart from the competition. One of the biggest problems in maintaining these rights is ensuring exclusivity.

Companies like Xerox and Kleenex have become so synonymous with their products that they are at risk of losing their copyright protection. Because of this, the companies go to great lengths to ensure people don’t refer to “copies” as “Xerox” or “facial tissue” as “Kleenex.” So the next time you pick up some Kleenex or Xerox copier supplies, remember the importance of their name.

Konica Minolta color printers

Last week my Mom asked me to help her pick out a new printer. I decided to take a look at the one she currently has, which appears to be a relic from a prehistoric age. It was the same printer I remember using in elementary school, often taking a half an hour to print a single essay.

She was worried about the cost of a new printer, as she hadn’t purchased one in well over a decade. I was happy to inform her that there are many quality models, like Konica Minolta color printers, that will be less expensive than the price she paid for her outdated one

Anatomy of a Laser Printer: The Fuser

The beauty of a multifunction business machine is that you can do all of your copying, printing and faxing in one convenient location. But how much do you really know about the essential parts of the laser printer? This relatively new breed of printer operates differently from ink jets in that they rely on static electricity and heat to impart an image on a sheet of paper.

When the printing process begins, the toner passes through a device known as a fuser. The fuser heats and binds the plastic particles in toner to the paper. The process is so quick and efficient that smudging does not occur. While you might end up with ink on your hands after reaching for an inkjet copy too quickly, no such concerns apply to multifunction HP copiers with laser printing capability.

Anatomy of a Laser Printer: The FuserSometimes referred to as a peripheral, a printer is a device which produces a hard copy of a document(s) that is stored electronically.  The quality of printers has improved dramatically over the past decade and many jobs which used to be done by professional print shops are now done by individuals on their personal printer.  This is also referred to as desktop publishing.

There are a number of manufactures making devices such as Xerox printers.  These peripherals can be attached to a computer either directly by a cable or by a built in network interface.

Avoiding Unnecessary Errands

When I was hired on as an intern at a graphic design company, I did a majority of the grunt work. My daily responsibilities ran the gamut from getting coffee for the whole office to delivering the mail. In short, I did the things no one else would care to do. Luckily, I had enough passion for the field that I stuck with it no matter what my bosses threw my way.

Early in my tenure as an intern, I noticed a number of inefficiencies that were holding the company back. After at least a dozen trips to Kinko’s to retrieve copies of our latest product designs, I finally got fed up enough to tell my boss. “Why don’t we just get a few Xerox color printers for the office?” I wondered. As it turned out, he didn’t realize just how affordable printers have become in recent years. I’m happy to report that we’ve since cut out the middle man and I have a full-time job at the company.
