The MFX-C3400 from Muratec prints exceptional 11″x17″ color, robust color copying, high-speed faxing and intuitive digital document delivery to email addresses, PC folders and USB flash drives, all within the footprint of a traditional letter/legal multifunction device. The Muratec MFX-C3400 can easily create full color 3″x5″ postcards. 11.6″x47.4″ banners and everything in between! By combining a high-resolution LED print engine, with a seamless paper path, you can efficiently create a variety of color documents quicker with fewer paper jams than the rest of the competition.

The beauty of a multifunction business machine is that you can do all of your copying, printing and faxing in one convenient location. But how much do you really know about the essential parts of the laser printer? This relatively new breed of printer operates differently from ink jets in that they rely on static electricity and heat to impart an image on a sheet of paper.
When the printing process begins, the toner passes through a device known as a fuser. The fuser heats and binds the plastic particles in toner to the paper. The process is so quick and efficient that smudging does not occur. While you might end up with ink on your hands after reaching for an inkjet copy too quickly, no such concerns apply to multifunction HP copiers with laser printing capability.
Sometimes referred to as a peripheral, a printer is a device which produces a hard copy of a document(s) that is stored electronically. The quality of printers has improved dramatically over the past decade and many jobs which used to be done by professional print shops are now done by individuals on their personal printer. This is also referred to as desktop publishing.
There are a number of manufactures making devices such as Xerox printers. These peripherals can be attached to a computer either directly by a cable or by a built in network interface.

When I was hired on as an intern at a graphic design company, I did a majority of the grunt work. My daily responsibilities ran the gamut from getting coffee for the whole office to delivering the mail. In short, I did the things no one else would care to do. Luckily, I had enough passion for the field that I stuck with it no matter what my bosses threw my way.
Early in my tenure as an intern, I noticed a number of inefficiencies that were holding the company back. After at least a dozen trips to Kinko’s to retrieve copies of our latest product designs, I finally got fed up enough to tell my boss. “Why don’t we just get a few Xerox color printers for the office?” I wondered. As it turned out, he didn’t realize just how affordable printers have become in recent years. I’m happy to report that we’ve since cut out the middle man and I have a full-time job at the company.

Now that the national economy has shown encouraging signs of mounting a comeback, many office workers are considering the benefits of starting their own business. If you have considered such a business venture, it’s best to have all your bases covered. First of all, do you have a business model in place? You should have an intuitive understanding of the product or service you want to sell.
But a worker’s tools are just as important as his ideas. In order to get the word out about your new company, you’ll need an all-in-one printer. Konica Minolta multifunction printers boast the ability to print, fax, copy and scan all in a single convenient unit. Space is usually at a premium for a new business enterprise, so you can save precious room with one of these all-in-one machines.

When one of my company’s printers fell into disrepair, I was the one charged with taking care of the problem. Knowing that the market is chock full of affordable replacement options, I tossed the old printer into the dumpster outside. Next, I did some research to find out whether our company would be better suited with an ink jet printer or a laser printer.
Unlike ink, toner is a dry, powdery substance that is quite literally burned into a document with a laser. It also turns out that the size of the toner particles has an impact on the overall quality of a printed image. Smaller particles equate to higher resolution. I also learned that toner cartridges are a bit more expensive than ink cartridges but that they last longer. By the time I surfed over to an office supplies site, I knew exactly what to look for. I went directly to the Xerox supplies page and purchased some toner to go along with the new laser printer.
Up until about a month ago, my law office was in a shambles. Don’t get me wrong, my associates and I were trying cases competently and giving our clients the best legal guidance in the area. Rather, I’m referring to the rash of paperwork mishaps that seemed to crop up on a daily basis. We had been so focused on our work that office organization went by the wayside.
I took some time to assess the situation and discovered that a bit of streamlining would make all of our jobs much easier. For example, our printers, copier and fax machine were located in completely disparate areas of the office. It was really no wonder important documents were being misplaced left and right. I invested in a Xerox multifunctional machine, which can scan, print, fax and copy. It’s incredible that a single change can make such an enormous organizational difference.
The drum is one of the most critical components of any laser printer. It’s easily identified as the toner-coated, cylindrical structure that rolls over paper to impart text and images. Over time, printer drums grow old and need to be replaced. In some cases, however, you can eliminate a drum problem with a few simple cleaning techniques.
First, use a small screwdriver to remove the Muratec drum from the clips that fasten it to the printer. Locate the photosensitive roller and set it aside on a piece of paper. A second, foamy roller can be removed delicately with a cue tip. Begin the cleaning process by scrubbing the drum brush with a cue tip to remove excess toner. Leave the rollers alone unless they appear to be caked with toner. In that case, give them a few taps to loosen the debris. Simply reverse the first few steps of this procedure to reinstall the drum.

While most people associate Panasonic with televisions or other electronics, Panasonic is actually a manufacturer of copiers as well. And while not many people are as familiar with Panasonic in the home copier and business copier arena, many people find that these copiers have trademark Panasonic characteristics. In this way, many of the copiers contain multifunction options that are indicative of Panasonic’s technology-forward way of business.
As such, a Panasonic copier is rarely just a copier. Rather, it will also be outfitted with the ability to scan, fax, print, and more. Whatever brand you go with, these multifunction devices can truly save you a lot of money and space. After all, it can be cumbersome and expensive to purchase all these separate machines.

If you’re interested in starting an at-home business, it’s important that you’re stocked with all the products that you’ll need to successfully complete that job. The necessary products will, of course, change with the type of at-home business you’re running, but there are still a few basic items that you’re sure to need. For one, make sure you have a reliable phone. If you want to cut down on long distance charges, go with your cell phone. Just make sure you have adequate minutes and crystal clear reception wherever you’ll be using your phone.
Also make sure you’re outfitted with a reliable computer and printer. For many at-home businesses, a well functioning computer can be all the difference between a successful business and a failed business. Also, if you’ll be dealing with a lot of customers or other individuals, make sure you have a fax machine. Preferably, choose a high quality option such as a Muratec fax to make sure all those important documents are received on the other end without any issue.
